Appalachian Mountain Family Photograph Collection
Collection is comprised of images (c.1890-1930) of families in the Appalachian Mountains surrounding Berea College, including surrounding counties. Photographs of several area photographers including E. W. Todd and E. Simms.

This collection comprises photographs, certificates, plaques, writings, and audio-visual recordings created primarily in the 1970s to 1990s. These resources document the life and accomplishments of educator and economist Juanita M. Kreps (1921-2010), a Berea College and Duke University graduate who served as the first female U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
